diving into the deep...

Have you ever taken swimming lessons?  Well, I am not the greatest swimmer, the hand and feet coordination just never worked for me, however, in high school swimming class for Physical Education, in order to get an “A” you had to swim the length of the shallow end and then be able to dive into the deep and swim in the deep end. Well, I wanted to get an “A”, therefore, I had to swim in the deep end which frighten me knowing my swimming coordination wasn’t the best. What I learned from that experience is that we have to challenge ourselves and dive into the deep to take our learning and faith to higher levels.

The plan for “Diving Into The Deep” is to provide you with questions that will make you “study to show yourself approved in God’s Word and bring forth an interest and enjoyment among each of us in studying God’s Word.

How will this work you may be asking?  Every week a question will be posted below that will challenge your spiritual intellect with scriptures that, in hopes, will meta-cognitively (just a fancy word for making you think about your thinking) inspire diving deeper into the understanding of God’s Word and a platform to share your learning with all of us in the comments below!!

That being said, are you ready to have some fun “Diving Into The Deep” in God’s Word?

2 Corinthians 10:4 tells us about the weapon of our warfare.

Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us about these weapons.

Do we know how to use these weapons at our disposal?

Look at the labels given to the weapons in Ephesians 6.

Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS

Shield of FAITH

What power does these underlined words have that describe our weapons?
